Stony-Iron Meteorites for Sale
Among the rarest of all meteorite types, stony-iron meteorites are divided into two incredible groups: pallasites and mesosiderites. These space rocks combine brilliant metal and crystal, formed by powerful asteroid collisions deep in space billions of years ago.

Pallasites are especially eye-catching—featuring golden-green olivine crystals suspended in a polished iron-nickel matrix. They are unlike anything found on Earth. Scientists believe they formed at the core-mantle boundary of ancient asteroids, where molten metal and silicate fused during massive impacts.

Mesosiderites, on the other hand, are brecciated blends of metal and silicate fragments, created from violent cosmic collisions that reshaped their parent bodies.
