Fall Location
This specimen originates from the well-known Talsint meteorite fall site in Eastern Morocco (32.5940°N, 3.4475°W). The meteorite was discovered in March 2017 and represents a brecciated mixture of silicate clasts and metallic components.
Specimen Description
This polished slice reveals the typical mesosiderite brecciated structure with silicate clasts embedded in a fine-grained matrix containing dispersed iron-nickel metal. Visible minerals include low-Ca pyroxene, plagioclase, and metal phases such as kamacite and taenite.
