NWA 17491 is a polymict eucrite from Talsint, Morocco, purchased in 2024. This unique HED achondrite consists of mm-sized unequilibrated clasts with zoned pyroxenes, set in a fine-grained basaltic matrix. It also includes chromite, ilmenite, FeNi metal, sulfides, and REE-rich phosphates, making it a scientifically valuable sample of Vesta’s crustal material.
