NWA 14870 CR2 Meteorite For Sale
NWA 14870 is a rare CR2 carbonaceous chondrite discovered in Northwest Africa and purchased in 2022. This scientifically significant meteorite features large, metal-rich type I chondrules in a fine-grained, hydrated matrix, with minor fusion crust and a dark brown interior. Rich in primitive minerals and sulfides, and containing rare impact melt fragments, it's a prime example of early solar system material.
