This NWA 14004 meteorite Fragment is a rare CV3 carbonaceous chondrite, one of the most primitive meteorites known. CV3 chondrites contain millimeter-sized chondrules and CAIs, the oldest solid materials formed in our solar system over 4.5 billion years ago.

Recovered in Morocco in 2020, NWA 14004 shows a preserved fusion crust, fine-grained matrix, and striking textures that make it both a scientific specimen and a collector’s gem. Each slice offers a unique cross-section of this remarkable meteorite.
