NWA 14234 H7 – Extremely Rare Ordinary Chondrite
NWA 14234 is one of only 33 meteorites ever classified as H7, making it an extraordinary piece for advanced collectors. This rare ordinary chondrite was purchased in Talsint, Morocco, in June 2019 and later classified by A. Greshake (MNB).
The specimen displays a fully recrystallized texture with frequent triple junctions between minerals — clear evidence of extreme metamorphism nearly to the point of melting. Its abundant FeNi metal, brownish silicate mosaic, and absence of visible chondrules distinguish it from lower-grade H-type meteorites.
