NWA 11756 – Rare Brachinite Meteorite (Primitive Achondrite)

NWA 11756 is an exceptional example of a primitive achondrite from the rare brachinite group, discovered in Morocco and acquired in 2017. This olivine-rich meteorite formed through partial melting and early planetary processes, resulting in a metamorphic texture without losing its near-chondritic chemical composition.

This specimen is an olivine-dominated ultramafic rock with grains of low-Ca and Ca-pyroxene, Cr-Al spinel, and weathered sulfides. The metamorphic texture shows ~120° triple junctions—typical of recrystallized material. Notably, no plagioclase is present, and the geochemical profile reveals consistent Fe/Mn and Cr-rich signatures, affirming its classification as a true brachinite.

Perfect for:

  • Advanced collectors seeking rare meteorite groups

  • Planetary scientists and institutions

  • Educational exhibits or academic research

🪐 Each specimen comes with a Certificate of Authenticity ensuring its scientific credibility and long-term value.
