159 Grams of the Sahara and the Stars

It arrived in fire. It rested in sand. And now it is here.

This 159-gram unclassified ordinary chondrite full fragment, measuring 66 × 66 × 35 mm, is a genuine piece of the solar system recovered from the Moroccan Sahara. Compact, dense, and beautifully surfaced, it is the kind of specimen that earns a permanent place in a collection — not because it demands attention, but because it quietly commands it.

Regmaglypts — Nature's Own Signature

Look at the surface and you will find them: regmaglypts, the smooth rounded depressions sculpted by aerodynamic ablation as this stone plunged through Earth's atmosphere at hypersonic speed. These thumb-print-like features are one of the most visually striking characteristics a meteorite can display, and this specimen shows them clearly on its main face — a direct record of the violence of atmospheric entry, frozen in stone.

A Desert Patina Worth Admiring

Having rested in the Moroccan desert for an extended period before its discovery, the specimen has developed a rich, two-tone natural patina — warm ochre and sandy tones on the weathered faces, contrasting with darker, more protected surfaces where the original character of the stone is better preserved. This interplay of colors makes the specimen visually dynamic from every angle.

4.5 Billion Years in Your Hands

Ordinary chondrites are the oldest solid material in the solar system — pristine remnants of the protoplanetary disk that formed our Sun and planets. This specimen predates Earth itself. It is older than the oceans, older than life, older than everything you have ever known. And it fits comfortably in one hand.

Authenticated and Ready to Ship

Selected for its surface character, its regmaglypts, and the quality of its natural patina, this specimen ships with a Certificate of Authenticity. Perfect for collectors entering the hobby or seasoned enthusiasts adding a well-priced, characterful piece to their collection.

One of a kind. When it is gone, it is gone forever.
