Right of Withdrawal & Contract Cancellation

1. Scope and withdrawal period

This policy applies to consumers who enter into an eligible distance contract with Buy Meteorite LLC and are protected by mandatory EU/EEA consumer law. It does not apply to purchases made wholly for business, trade, or professional purposes.

For a contract covering one item, the withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day you receive it. If one order contains multiple goods delivered separately, it ends 14 days after you receive the last item. If the deadline falls on a non-working day under applicable law, it is extended to the next working day.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the 14-day period expires.

2. How to exercise your right

Inform us through an unequivocal statement that you are withdrawing from the contract. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory.

Please include your order number, the item concerned, your name, delivery address, date received, and the email used for the order. We will acknowledge an electronic withdrawal notice by email.

Orders not yet dispatched

Contact us immediately. If dispatch can still be stopped, we will cancel the order and refund it. If the parcel has already entered the shipping process, use the withdrawal procedure and return instructions below.

3. Returning the goods

After giving notice, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you informed us of your withdrawal. Contact us before posting anything. We will provide the correct return address and customs wording for your order. Because orders may ship from different facilities, do not send a return to our registered office unless we expressly instruct you to do so.

You bear the direct cost of returning goods under the right of withdrawal unless we agree otherwise or mandatory law requires us to pay it. Use tracked, suitably insured shipping and package the specimen securely. Import duties, incorrect customs declarations, or carrier charges arising from an improperly addressed return may be deducted only where permitted by law.

You may examine the specimen only as you reasonably could in a physical shop. You are responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Cutting, polishing, etching, cleaning, mounting, coating, repairing, or otherwise altering a specimen goes beyond ordinary inspection.

4. Refund following withdrawal

We will reimburse all eligible payments received from you, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered for the order. If you selected a more expensive express or premium service, the additional amount is not reimbursed unless required by law.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision. For sales of goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a fee for the reimbursement.

5. Exceptions

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where an exception under applicable law applies. For our products, the most relevant exception is:

• goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including a specimen cut, polished, engraved, mounted, labelled, or otherwise modified specifically at your request after your express approval.

A unique, naturally occurring specimen is not automatically excluded merely because it is one of a kind. The exception applies only where the legal conditions for made-to-order or clearly personalised goods are met. Your rights concerning goods that are damaged, defective, misdescribed, or not in conformity remain unaffected.

6. Damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming goods

The right of withdrawal is separate from your legal rights when goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or do not match the description. Contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs of the specimen, packaging, and shipping label. Where we are legally responsible for non-conforming goods, remedies and necessary return costs are handled according to applicable law.

7. Relationship with our Return Policy

Our Return and Refund Policy currently provides a 30-day request period and may give you additional contractual rights. This page explains the minimum statutory withdrawal procedure for eligible European consumers. If the policies differ, mandatory consumer protection law and the more favourable applicable commitment will prevail.
